Jersey Shore Five

Asbury Park, N.J.

Start 8:30 am

A Five Mile Team and Individual Road Race which starts and finishes in Asbury Park, N.J.

Run 5 Miles as an Individual or each person on a Team runs 5 Miles.
Each person on the team must register separately..

The Race is part of RunAPalooza and will be a fund raiser for Special Olympics New Jersey and assist in rebuilding and restoring the Jersey Shore from the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy.

We do hope to bring back the Jersey Shore Relay Marathon in 2014 from Seaside Hts to Asbury Park, N.J. The  Asbury Park Half Marathon will be held this year - Register Here.

It will be a flat and fast course along the Jersey Shore.

Awards will be presented to top teams in various categories and top individuals.
Team Awards will be based on the combined finish times of the top four finishers from each team. Unlimited team size. Individuals can compete on Teams and qualify for awards in both categories.

Open and Master's Mixed teams will have the top two male and females score.  So make sure there are at least two of each on those teams.

When setting up your team please make sure you annotate the team name with the last name of the team captain.  For example:  E Street Runners Springsteen. That will help us track the teams and avoid duplicate names.

Chip Timing.

All registered participants will receive a long sleeve moisture wicking type technical shirt, entry into the .Post Race Party.

Awards will also be presented to the top individual and team fund raisers.


Registration: per Individual:  $30 by February 1, 2013.  $34 by March 1, 2013,   $36 by April 1. $40 Thereafter.

We will also  have the Asbury Park Half Marathon that day as well for anyone interested.
